Cash Deposit

Today we’re excited to bring cash deposits to the Unit platform. 

With our new Green Dot integration, people can walk into nearly 100,000 retail locations across the United States — including Walgreens, Walmart, 7-Eleven, CVS, and more — to deposit their cash at a register. The money will immediately become available in their bank accounts. 

Individuals, gig workers, freelancers, and small businesses still use cash regularly. They need a convenient way to deposit cash, even when their banking provider doesn’t have physical branches. The Green Dot network of retail locations makes depositing cash convenient and accessible, with more locations than all US bank branches combined.

Cash Deposit at retail locations through Green Dot is available today to customers partnered with Thread Bank and will be available with other bank partners in the future.
