Knot Integration

When you get a new card, the chore of updating your payment information at your favorite merchants can be painful.

With our newest integration, Knot, you can streamline the process of updating payment information and ensure that your card is being used across the many places your customers spend. This allows you to start generating card spend quickly and consistently, improving your ability to generate interchange revenue.

Knot’s Card on File Switcher makes it simple for your customers to update their card information, with only a login to the merchant required.

Here’s how it works:

1. In your app you install the Knot SDK.

2. Tell Unit and Knot you are integrating.

3. Your customer signs into the merchant.

That’s it! 

The payment information automatically gets updated. Thousands of merchants are supported including commonly used companies like Amazon, Walmart, Netflix, Uber, Lyft, Starbucks, and more.

Knot is PCI compliant and is integrated with Unit using a Partner Token making it easy for them to securely access and use only the necessary card information.

The Knot integration is currently available to clients on Blue Ridge Bank and Piermont Bank, and will be available to clients on more banks soon. If you’re interested in implementing the Knot integration, please read our guide and contact your Customer Success Manager to get it set up.
