Same-day ACH

Today we’re excited to announce same-day ACH, which is a faster way to move money between a Unit account and an external counterparty. Unit now enables same-day ACH which shortens the processing time of an originated ACH transfer. 

Imagine a $100 payment that is originated on Thursday night of Labor Day weekend using standard ACH. The money wouldn't be accessible until Tuesday, 5 days later. That same transaction originated using same-day ACH would have the funds available on Friday, 1 day later (the day the bank receives the order). 

Same-day ACH is available today to clients partnered with Piermont Bank, and will be coming to clients partnered with our three other bank partners in the future. Learn more about same-day ACH read our documentation.
