Today we’re excited to announce our newest fraud prevention feature, Selfie Verification, which ensures that customers applying for bank accounts are who they say they are. 

During the application process, your customers can now be asked to take a real-time photograph of themselves alongside a government-issued photo ID. Behind the scenes, we’ll confirm that the two images match. This feature allows you to approve more legitimate customers while filtering out bad actors — saving you time, resources, and lost revenue.

Unit is continually adding new functionality to enhance security and mitigate fraud. Selfie Verification is an opt-in feature that can be activated for all or part of your customer base.
